Rec Camp 2007

Rec Camp is an annual ARC event, to which anyone is able to come. Temporary membership can be arranged at a cost of $5 to people who wish to attend who are not ARC members - we take the policy of the more, the merrier!

This year, it is a great chance to meet some of the members of the Artistic Team and Production Team, and to talk to them and to Committee members about opportunities for you to be involved in our production of CABARET, or in ARCappella.

Many of the older ARC members love Rec Camp because it involves little to no work - not like Rehearsal Camp! A great social occasion, Rec Camp is a great time to relax after all the excitement of Christmas and New Year's parties, or you may choose to continue to party!! Bring your own alcohol, but don't worry, there are designated non-drinkers each night to keep an eye on under-age attendees (and everyone else too!).

The camp is at Stringybark Lodge in Gembrook. At the camp you can choose to take part in playing on a mini golf course, billiard tables, table tennis tables and/ or trampolines. Or, if you prefer a more laid back approach to a weekend away, you can relax in the recreation room or games room, or around the campfire area. If you'd like to spend your time sightseeing, the camp is also an easy driving distance from Puffing Billy and Healesville Sanctuary. To find out more about Stringybark Lodge visit

We suggest you bring a sleeping bag or bedding and a pillow, toiletries and towel, clothes and a pair of 'inside' shoes for the carpeted areas. Food is provided as part of the cost. We are happy to cater for special dietary needs.

Finally, please be aware that payment for Rec Camp is required before the camp. Camp will cost $65.00, plus $5 temporary membership if necessary. ARC is equipped to take Internet transfers directly from your bank account.
