ARC: New Committee

After yesterdays Annual General Meeting, ARC now has a new committee at the helm to lead the company for 07/08:
    President : Mark Kearney
    Vice President : Julian Campobasso
    Secretary : Angie Bedford
    Treasurer : Zoe Hallwright
    General Committee : Portia Chiminello, Diana Perini, Luis Rivera & Vickie Zarifopoulos

Congratulations to the new committee and a big thanks to the outgoing committee who produced most financially successful show in ARC's history!

'Cabaret' well underway

Leah is back

A big ARC "welcome back" to Leah D'Astoli. Leah has been working and travelling in the U.K. and has recently returned to Melbourne and has already jumped back into the ARC swing of things with ARCappella.

ARC announces its 2007 musical production

ARC is proud to announce its 2007 musical production! ARC will be performing Cabaret in July of 2007.


Hot Mikado Cast Auditions

Bookings are now being taken for ARC's 2006 production of 'Hot Mikado'. Auditionees will be required to attend a personal audition and group dance audition. More information can be found under Hot Mikado Auditions.


Hot Mikado Technical Team

The Technical Team for the 'Hot Mikado' is current being assembled. ARC Theatre is calling on young, enthusiastic, theatre-minded people with an interest in off-stage technical and production activities to assist our with our 2006 production. More information can be found under Technical Team


New Committee Member

ARC is delighted to welcome Caroline Dalfonso to the committee of ARC. Caroline has volunteered to fill the position of General Memeber of the commitee after Cath Sharples resigned. ARC would also like to thank Cath for her time on committee.


Farewell Cath Sharples

Cath Sharples who has been involved in ARC for many years is moving to Queensland Cath was a current committee member and has been involved in many ways for many years. ARC would also like to thank Cath for her devotion to the company, and wishes her well in the future.


ARCappella

ARCappella, ARC's unaccompanied choir, will be meeting at 2:00pm on Sunday 5th February to discuss the future of the choir, including suggestions for new songs to add to our repertoire, and ideas on new events competitions and venues to sing at.

If you or anyone else you know is interested in joining ARCappella, or if you're just curious and would like to know a little bit more about the choir, feel free to come along to the meeting. Contact Melissa Ventura on 0416 289 845 for the venue details.


ARC Life Members Announced

ARC is very pleased to announce that Adrian Ventura and Andrew Jameson were awarded ROOSTA awards at the 10 year reunion. The ROOSTA (Recognition Of Outstanding Service To ARC) incorporates a lifetime membership for the recipient. Adrian and Andrew have both been involved with ARC from the early years contributing to the life of the company in many diverse ways. They join company founders, Anthony Ventura and Amelia van Lint as life members of the company. Congratulations Adrian and Andrew!


ARC's 2006 Musical Production

The ARC committee is pleased to announce that ARC will be staging "Hot Mikado" as its 2006 musical. More information on the upcomping production will placed on the Current Show page soon.


Music Theatre Guild Award Nominations

The 2005 Music Theatre Guild of Victoria Award Nominations have been released and ARC'a 2005 production of The Witches of Eastwick has been duly recognised!. Alana Keily who played the role of Sukie Rougemont has been nominated for Female Peformer in a leading role. Congratulations Alana! ARC has also been listed to receive a special Judge's award, but you will have to attend the Awards night to find out what or who its for


ARC Special General Meeting (SGM)

A SGM on the future directions of ARC is to be held following the resoultion at this years Annual General Meeting. All current ARC members are encouraged to attend and contribute to this special meeting to set the future directions for ARC.

Congratualations to Matt and Sara, both long time ARCian's, on the occasion of the birth of their baby girl, Genevieve Olivia.

ARC is delighted to welcome Catherine Sharples to the committee of ARC. Catherine volunteered to fill the remaining vacancy unfilled at the last AGM.

2005 Victorian Music Theatre Guild Awards

This years awards are being held on 10 Dec at the Costa Hall, Deakin Uni in Geelong. The committee is arranging a group booking of tickets and accomadation for all ARCians who want to attend the social higlight of the amateur music theatre year. Further, Laura Burzacott, Virginia Crouch and Alana Kiely have been asked to perform "Make Him Mine" from ARC's 2005 production of "The Witches of Easwick".

Musical Production '05 : The Witches of Eastwick
